“As a retired Independent Financial Adviser I am more than aware of what I need in terms of overall financial advice and thus equally aware of what should be available to me. My experience of Harpsden has demonstrated that all my requirements are fully met by them in that they have technical expertise, an admirable and enviable investment track record and are always up to speed in the crucial elements of financial advice. In addition they give a first class service, which is both on an individual, personal basis as well as on a generic one. “
“Roland has been coming to our home for four years. We always look forward to his visit on a personal level as well as the business aspect of the visit. We have always trusted Roland’s advice as we feel that he is well informed on all aspects of the economy at any one time, and gives us an overview of Harpsden’s current policies for investment. He is certainly enthusiastic on a professional level and an excellent ambassador for Harpsden.”
“Jeremy Arthur spent time and energy ensuring that he had a good, holistic understanding of my financial position and objectives and has worked with my accountant and a lawyer to make sure that my investments will match my needs in the long and short term. A great communicator, he has been meticulous in keeping me abreast of changes in the financial environment and agreeing a way forward which balances risk and reward in a way that suits me. I am comforted by the approach that Ian Brady, who manages the investment side of Harpsden Wealth Management, has to tailored conservative investment in difficult times.”
“I completely trust Roland. He’s clear in assessing the level of risk I want to adopt, in advising on my current position and the options available, and in explaining his reasons for his advice on the best way forward. I have been using him for many years, and trust him so much that he is now also advising my wife, my 2 children, my mother and also acted (until her death) for my aunt!”
“I was introduced to Jeremy and Harpsden by a mutual friend who I had told that I was dissatisfied with my previous adviser’s performance and his appreciation of my needs. Jeremy understood my situation and my future requirements after a thorough assessment process, and we have set up a portfolio which I am much more confident will perform sufficiently now and in the future, as well as being in line with my ethical concerns.”
“Jeremy has been very professional from day one and has always taken the utmost care in finding out what I needed and how to best provide that for me. It does not end there, we meet on a regular basis to discuss where I am and any changes in my short or long term plans. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jeremy without any hesitation what so ever.”
“I had to choose how do deal with an inheritance and talked to a couple of possible advisers. I found the relatively small scale of Harpsden attractive, and Jeremy Arthur was friendly and professional, and took a lot of care to understand my circumstance and help me find the best way forward. I also appreciated that I was introduced to the rest of the Harpsden team. I’m not somebody with a lot of experience with financial matters, so it is good to feel that my investments are in safe hands – and I’m getting to understand the financial world a bit more too!”
“Roland has been my IFA since 1994 – sufficient recommendation in itself – during which time he has mentored and supervised all matters relating to my pension fund. Although I retired in 2000 Roland continues to provide all the support I need in managing my funds. During the years since 2000 he has taken on responsibility for advising and managing the separate pension funds of my wife and daughter, both of whom are completely happy with Roland’s advice, efficiency and tireless attention to ensuring that all actions are fully understood and agreed. “
“Jeremy has been an exemplary advisor, offering me excellent professional advice, showing absolute professional discretion and where appropriate connected me to useful contacts. It has to date been a pleasure working with Jeremy.”
“Roland ascertains my specific investment and pension needs, fully informs himself about my resources and commitments and then comes up with a fully researched strategy to deliver a satisfactory and tax efficient solution. There is little more that one could want from such a professional adviser and he provides the reassurance of not only his own specific areas of expertise but also of that of the whole Harpsden management on which he draws to ensure the best possible advice.”
“Jeremy is very experienced and knowledgeable. He deploys this talent with an excellent manner and approach and is very adept at handling very important and discreet situations. He is entirely trustworthy, very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. He took a great deal of time and trouble to understand my personal and financial situation and options for the future and was therefore able to add real value, both at the outset and ongoing.”
“Harpsden provided us with excellent, complete and impartial advice. Jeremy Arthur’s understanding of matters peripheral to investments was very good and his knowledge enabled us to question and clarify other advice being provided by other advisers. We have complete trust in them which we have not always felt with other financial advisers.”
“Roland prepares well for our review meetings and always allows plenty of time for a full discussion of our affairs and explanations of relevant new developments/legislation. He always deals with our affairs and any queries that may arise during the year promptly and efficiently. We are very pleased with all aspects of the service we receive.”
“Jeremy is always easy to contact and is happy to meet as frequently as I feel is necessary. He is measured and empathetic to my situation. He always deals with ad hoc requests swiftly and he has provided advice over and above that which I am paying for.”
